Help with external ssd
I am looking for help with setting up an external ssd.

I'm trying to use a Samsung 2TB T9 on my ASUS TUF GAMING A15.
​
When I connect it, I know it's at least running power, but nothing else, given that the indication light is on. But the laptop doesn't even register it at all, not on the disc manager or device manager. I've tried troubleshooting a little in the BIOS and running a USB slot check it doesn't even register there (despite registering any other device I use). The USB mass storage driver support is set to enabled as well.
