Due to my job my feet will get soaking wet up to my calves. Aside from wearing rubber boots there's just no getting around it.
That's fine, I'm not looking for waterproof. I'm looking for gusseted tongues that keep debris/sand out. I like the idea of the vivo jungle escapes. But they're pricey for a non resolable.
I've heard mini mil combat boots are ok. But they're just glued together and I've read reviews of the sole just falling off.

I have a pair of whitin barefoot shoes and astrals. I don't know the term but the fabric is literally stitched to the sole. Not just glued.
I understand welted soles are resolable. But I've heard boots and cheap shoes like mini mils have the sole just glued on.
