I’m planning to sell this ring. It’s valued at 2k+ with insurance, which I know I wouldn’t get for that. I was hoping at least £500 but jewellery stores are offering £200-£250. I want to private sell but i’m unsure where, apart from ebay, but i’m scared of getting scammed.

Hello, i’m wondering how much I could sell this for? I took it to three jewelers and they said £200 but I have the valuation documentation also.

It’s an 18 ct Yellow gold opal and diamond cluster ring. The opal measuring 0.27 carats. The old cut diamonds measuring 0.16 carats. Circa 1900

With insurance it came up to £2450, so I know that isn’t what i’d get for it but I thought at least maybe £500
