This is a follow up post to my previous one showing one of my knife drawers. I caved and said “fuck it, I’ll give organization a chance” and bought a wall display.
And like I knew I would, I love it. the only issue, which is what I was avoiding in the first place is, now I need like five more of these displays at least. my home is going to look like a fancy-knife serial killer lives here…the exact decor I’ve always dreamed about 🤤
on second thought maybe this was the move all along…?!?

Both of these are exceptional. The original design (forgot what they called it) has a very weighty heft to it that feels nice but maybe a bit heavy to edc for some, I personally don’t mind. I just wish the thumb polygon thingys had some texturing or jimping; that would take it through the stratosphere, bc as is it’s very slippery and only deploys reliably when u get it from the bottom point of the perfect angle/leverage from the side. Ahhh so close to being like a $450 knife quality😭)lastly this thing cuts like shockingly well, somehow it’s a laser beam. I can’t figure out how since blade stock is more robust that thin by a good margin.
The holt specter clones finish looks a little cheap/chintzy/ makes me wonder if it’s actually titanium. But that detent and blade are perfect and sexy as all get out, respectfully.
I’ve been blown away by the value u get from these sort of sites (I’ve only used AliExpress so far havent seen the same stuff on dhgate). I got 10 killer knives with zero duds yet, all straight heaters! For the same money I’d only normally get 3 knives from bestech or reate.
Now I will admit, the best from the top Chinese oem’s like a wet Nellie or a mini sachsie(bestech has been on fire lately)is still marginally better in almost every way, but the gap is truly very small. It’s definitely diminishing returns and I’d argue most probably couldn’t even tell the difference between these knives and a reate, bestech, or we knife.
I purchased the version with the timascus clip and thumb studs/chonks/pads. I’m blown away by how exceptional the ergos, action, build quality, and design on it are. Better than many $1k knives I’ve owned and handled.
Ps That’s my 10 month old American Eskimo, Kaiju. He wouldn’t stop trying to get me to play with him while I was trying to take the photo lol Don’t worry, I played w him right after posting this. He’s very insistent on getting basically constant attention.
Overall very happy with the quality and price point. I got them all off AliExpress from different sellers.the one that impressed me the most would have to be the duck and the roosie.
