The lure of covering so many peaks along a nice ridge brought me to Glen Shiel last weekend. The weather was pretty windy for the whole crossing making it a bit of a slog. That said, the cloud base remained above the tops, apart from one heavy shower, so the views were pretty decent. I also saw a few Ptarmigan and plenty of deer early on which was great. The walk back to the car was no fun, I was so glad to see my car waiting with dry clothes and snacks!
