Suggestions needed for Wife's engagement ring

Hopefully someone on this sub can help with this. I bought this black onyx gold ring 4 years ago for my girlfriend on our engagement. She absolutely loved it, but after only about a year of wearing it, a small stone fell out. We took it back to the jeweller and he fixed it free of charge. Then about 6 months later it happened again. Since then, we have kind of given up on it and my wife has stopped wearing it. Now after being married 2 years, she really wants to wear her ring again.

As you can see in the photos, one of the small clasps has snapped, letting a stone fall out. She has always been very careful with it; never wears it in the shower, swimming, or at the gym.

I am looking for advice on what to do with this ring. Is it worth just getting the clasp repaired and a stone set in it again? Do we go down the route of getting it redesigned and made a bit more sturdy? Take the stones and set into a completely new custom ring? Or is this design just always going to be vulnerable?

We are in Perth, Western Australia, so any local custom jeweller suggestion would also be appreciated.
