Replaced 12v battery and EV range increased significantly.
2018 Energi Titanium. Original battery went dead, so I connected my smart charger to the underhood terminal.
Several hours later I found the battery too hot to touch and dripping from the vent tube.
I replaced the original Group 90 590CCA with a Group 47 AGM 660CCA.
I changed the battery type in Forscan and reset the BCM.
My EV range had been running around 13-14 miles, and it immediately went to 19.
I'm a bit surprised by this, and wondered if anyone else has seen similar results.
