Conti SC7 Wear
Has anyone on the sub that has had the Sportcontact 7 noticed pretty poor wear since they were fitted?
For context, I have a 2020 BMW 118i FWD (so nothing powerful) and had four new tyres fit in June 2025. The rear two are sitting at around 7mm however having just checked the fronts they’re sitting at 2mm.
I’m quite surprised that they are this low considering I have done less than 12000 miles since they were fitted.
Maybe I’m being ignorant but is it common for this tyre to have poor wear; and my follow up question (for the smart tyre people) would be wether it’s wise to get a new pair of SC7 on the front given that the rears have some life left or whether it would be wise to get a pair of slightly better wearing tyres on the front given these were eaten up quite quickly?
As added context I live in the country and surround by national speed limit country roads that are in very poor quality so wondering if that has had a factor.
