1950's Superhero team: The Star Squadron

1950's Superhero team: The Star Squadron

This team exists in the same universe as my other posts, just earlier.

There's Liberty Steel (Henry Harrison), the leader and most powerful. Basically their superman. Flight, strength, speed, laser eyes, etc.

Then Flashette (Elizabeth Bianchi), the fastest woman alive. She has super speed, after images, etc.

Flying above everyone is Firefrost (Jack Donovan), with the powers of Pyrokinesis, Cryokinesis, thermokinesis, temperature invulnerability, and pyro-cryokinetic constructs, and flight obviously.

Then there's Specter Black (Vincent Vale). He has the basics like flight, strength, speed, etc. But he also has invisibility and intangibility.

In the late 1960's Liberty Steel disappeared. The Star Squadron disbanded, and other hero's rose up. Decades later, Liberty Steel was found frozen (original, I know), and was unfrozen in 2026.

Classic friends to enemies

Thunderfall and Invictus (Calvin Archer and Gavin Steele) were best friends. Once Gavin unlocked his powers, Calvin trained him to be a hero. Until, Gavin found out where his powers come from, an Human-mirroring alien race called Draxians. He was born to conquer the planet, so that's what he's now trying to do.

Original character: Solar Shift

Ryan Starling is a parody of Ben 10, a hero chosen to carry a very powerful weapon on his arm. Instead of having the Omnitrix that transforms him into 10 different aliens, he has the Planetrix that transforms him into beings with forms and powers that represent the 10 main celestial bodies in the Solar System. Each of his forms can fly, Has enhanced speed durability and strength, and all-terrain.

Here's each of his forms

• Mercury form: Super speed, heat resistance, liquid reshaping

• Venus form: toxic gas manipulation, acidic blasts, pressure resistance, blinding clouds, heat absorption

• Earth form: Super strength and durability, limited geomancy, natural regeneration when grounded, Florakinesis

• Mars form: enganced combat instincts, increased strength and agility, terrain corruption, weapon generation, four arms

• Jupiter form: Size increase, Atmokinesis, extreme strength and durability

• Saturn form: Energy ring constructs, tactical genius boost, lessened density

• Uranus form: icey wind manipulation, gravity inversion, disorienting aura

• Neptune form: Hydrokinesis, pressure attacks, camouflage/invisibility in liquids

• Pluto form: darkness manipulation, phase shifting, isolation aura

• Helios form: solar plasma manipulation, extreme energy output, burning aura, highest strength speed and durability, gravity manipulation, size increase, extremely exhausting

Features

• Full forearm device

• Can generate space suit

• Can use the powers of planets from outside the solar system, but only while he's on them

• Has a failsafe that pushes a form beyond its potential if he manages to die or get seriously injured, it picks a random form if he's killed in human form but most likely Helios

Ryan Starling

• Human, about as old as Thunderfall

• Protects the galaxy in the name of his solar system

• Has a galaxy-traveling space ship

• Alien friends

• Has hover bike

Characters from my OC's universe, part one: Thunderfall (main character)

Thunderfall, or Calvin Archer, is the most powerful superhero in his world. He's faced hardships, villains, and decisions no one should make.

His main powers are: Flight, Super strength, super speed, super durability, super stamina, and super reflexes and perception, Electrokinesis, and a danger sense. There's others, but they're more specific.

He's had his powers since the 4th grade, and is now leaving his 11th, making him very hardened when he puts on the suit.

He has a no-kill-rule, but struggles following it, as he's killed four villains. A scientist that ruined his life four years ago, two evil variants of his, and Ares.

Even now, his story continues.

Bjrnolf is a viking that's around 1000 years old. He lived in the viking era, and being a beserker, was the strongest of his time.

He constantly craved battle, and was feared by his own people. One day, during a raid, he challenged the gods, (not THE God, the Norse gods), calling them cowards denying him a worthy death. Drawing the attention of Odin, he was cursed. He cannot die in an ordinary battle, and not even time can claim him. He is denied entry into Valhalla until he is slain by someone truly worthy.

Now, in the present day, hes still one of the most powerful creatures on the planet. And he's taken an interest in the most powerful superhero/main character of the story, Thunderfall, or Calvin Archer. He's finally found someone strong enough to kill him.

However, Thunderfall has a no-kill-rule, like most heros. Despite this, he struggles holding back, and has killed. First, Doctor Adrik Abatal, a man in a super-powered suit that ruined his life, two evil versions of himself, and Ares, the Greek god of war.

Bjrnolf fought Calvin's ex-best friend, Gavin Steele, AKA Invictus. Bjrnolf believed he finally found someone strong enough that was willing to kill him, until he drove his battle axe, Grimskald, into his gut, killing him (which is used as motivation for Thunderfall).

Fun fact: IRL, I was in the play called Beowulf my junior year of high school, and I played a character names Bjrnolf the stone faced. He's killed by Grendel's mother, but I thought it'd be cool if I used the same name since I liked the character so much.

(This information comes from a classified secret agency file)

Name: Calvin Archer

Alias: Thunderfall

Family: Christina Archer (Mother), Jeremiah Archer (Father), Andrew Archer (Older brother), Ariana Archer (younger sister)

DOB: January 25, 2009

Power origin: Struck by lighting during a cosmic storm

Information:

Calvin Archer has had his powers since he was 8 years old. Since then, he's grown exponentially more powerful, becoming the most powerful Superhero on the planet in a few years, and his biology only predicts that he will get stronger as he ages. Not many people could defeat him, and by that I mean almost none could kill him. The Unity Force might could have, but that was before they were massacred during the Thunderfall invasion (event where 15 evil variants of Thunderfall attacked the planet).

He's become very skilled and doesn't have trouble taking down powerful opponents.

He's hardened over the years and takes his job very seriously. Unlike other hero's, he doesn't struggle holding back. He also doesn't just choose not the hold back, he tries to hold back but struggles doing so, leading to the hospitalization of some of his enemies, or even death, such as Dr Adrik Abatal, Ares, or his variants King Thunderfall and Thunderwrath. And yes, he killed Ares, the Greek God of War.

He has no known weaknesses, the only thing we could throw at him if he decided to turn was nuclear weaponry, but not without mass casualties. We're just lucky he's on our side.

Suit:

His suit is made of a modified/reinforced carbon-kevlar weave. It's lightweight, flexible, and extremely durable. The white trim on his suit is also a conductor that helps him with his powers in some ways. His lenses also are non-tinted and have an anti-glare coating.

Original set of abilities:

• Electrokinesis

• Flight

• Psychological awareness

• Super human strength, speed, durability, stamina, endurance and reflexes

• Light/sound resistance

• High temperature resistance

Abilities gained since then:

• Hypermotility

• Electrokinetic constructs

• Energy absorption, draining, and manipulation

• Electro magnetic manipulation

• Electric aura conjuration

• Lightning speed flight

• Electrical telekinesis

• Lightning speed thought

[Abilties are expected to increase as he gets older]

Maximum lift: 1,000 tons

Maximum flight speed: 80,000 mph

Maximum power output: 10 terajoules

So the main character in my original universe is named, Calvin Archer, but is secretly the superhero, "Thunderfall." He's super strong and has lightning powers. He's 17 years old and has had his powers since 4th grade.

Here's the more important backstory, his best friend is Gavin Steele, a boy the same age as him, and has known his identity for a couple years.

One day, out of nowhere, Gavin unlocks powers. All the basics like flight, strength, speed, durability, etc. And he's almost as strong as Calvin, who is the strongest superhero in-verse.

Gavin's always been more of a wildcard, so when he gets his powers, he's more reckless, even after training with Calvin. And then, Calvin and Gavin discover where his powers come from.

He was sent from the destroyed planet, "Draxia," and he was sent to rule. His adoptive parents didn't know this, and neither did he. But once he finds out the truth behind his people, he turns. He tries to "fulfill his destiny" and do what he was sent to do, so Thunderfall has to stop him.

What would you name this character? He names himself after he unlocked his powers, but would he change it after turning? Or would it stay the same and the meaning behind his name change?

Since the Omnitrix makes him the peak version of any specifies, I kinda based his design off Grand Regent Thragg
