My swim top is leaking glue … so disappointed in Aerie’s recent quality ☹️
Has anyone else had issues with Aerie’s swimwear leaking glue?
I’ve had this swim top for a few seasons, but I’ve only worn it a handful of times. After a 10 minute hot tub soak, I noticed the stitches on the seam of my swimsuit were leaking what looks & feels like adhesive or glue. It feels like I’ve barely even used it and the top is now so sticky & faded from the glue that it seems unwearable.
The last few swimsuits I’ve bought from Aerie have all had some kind of minor issues (losing color, poor stitching, etc.) but this is wild. Even though Aerie has long been my go-to for swim, the quality has deteriorated so much that I really don’t want to buy from them if their products are bound to self destruct in under 10 uses 😭 I’d love to know if this has happened to anyone else??
