Which international schools still pay into U.S. Social Security/FICA?
I’m a U.S. international teacher trying to figure out which overseas schools still withhold and match U.S. Social Security/Medicare (FICA) for American hires.
A few I’ve been able to confirm are TAS, AES Delhi, ACS Amman, Schutz Alexandria, and CAG Guatemala. I’ve also found older mentions of a handful of other schools, but it’s hard to tell what’s still current.
I’m especially curious about QSI schools, ISS-owned/managed schools, and schools that employ teachers through a U.S. foundation or U.S. employer.
If you know of one, even just naming the school or saying something vague like “a QSI school in Europe” would help. No need to say when you worked there or give any details that might identify you. DMs are totally fine too.
I’m specifically asking about U.S. Social Security/FICA, not local pensions or school retirement plans.
Mostly just trying to crowdsource an updated list because the ones online seem pretty old.
