Seeking co-founder for mental health startup
Hi everyone,
I’m looking for a software engineer/full-stack collaborator for an early-stage mental health platform called MOA.
The project is focused on helping therapists manage sessions, scheduling, notes, payments, subscriptions, and patient workflows in a cleaner and more human-centered way.
I already have therapists interested in using the platform, but the current version still isn’t stable/usable enough to properly onboard paying users yet. So this is no longer just an “idea stage” project. The main bottleneck right now is product development and execution.
At the moment, MOA is still a mission-driven/nonprofit-oriented project, so I can’t offer a big salary upfront. I can offer:
- real ownership and influence over the product
- flexibility
- portfolio/startup experience
- long-term potential if the platform grows
Tech stack direction so far:
Next.js
Tailwind
Supabase/Firebase (still flexible)
scheduling/payment integrations
The GitHub is currently private, but I’m happy to share details/code after a short conversation.
I’m based in Munich and come from a scientific/bioinformatics background rather than traditional software engineering, so I’m especially looking for someone who enjoys building meaningful tools with real-world impact.
