4-5 days Somewhere in the Bahamas
My son goes away to college in August. He’s working on the east cost of FL for June to mid-July. I would really like one last family vacation but time is limited. The rest of us (dad, brother, and me/mom) are Tampa area. Graduate loves fishing. Brother and I sunburn but enjoy beach/swim and exploring. Don’t really want resort or major area (no cruise ports). But that’s as far as I’ve gotten. Oldest could take a ferry over or fly. And return to his car to drive home post vacation. I was kind of hoping I’d see the perfect ask/answer but of course there are so many amazing islands. Any suggestions to help me narrow this down? Are there main locations to stay and you can day trip to other places? We can rent boat and/or car. We can cook or eat out. I just want a little more time with my (no longer a) baby boy. Thank you!
