How do you handle wage increases from the championship to the Premier League?
I just got promoted from the championship to the premier leauge and ofcourse the disgruntled players are coming to me asking for a wage increase. Now my question is how do you handle the wages going forward? Obviously the wages will increase but for example one of my starters thats 3.5 stars is asking for a pay jump from 350k to 1.3M. Would a jump like that make sense for a player of that caliber? I try to manage my wage budget pretty intelligently and try to keep all the wages reasonably within distance of eachother so atm the average wage is like 200k-500k and the 500k is only for 2 players who were pivotal in my promotion. would you recommend trying to keep wages under a Mil or should i expect to start paying that wage for most if not all my players the first season? I have about 14M in the wage budget rn and 38 M in the transfer budget.
