Trying to sell a bunch of coins for the best possible value, any tips or advice? I don't want to get scammed in any way or sell my coins for less than they are worth.

Hi! I just need some advice and I figured this would be the best place to ask. I have a massive collection of coins from other countries and some from the US. I got them from my late grandpa. They were not professionally stored, they came in a peanut jar. But many of these coins are from different countries. The oldest coin is from 1903. I'm working on getting a down payment very soon so I can start living independently and I was hoping that selling some of these coins could get me a bit closer to my goal.

Anyone have any tips on how to determine the value of these coins? Like any apps I can use? Or methods of determining coin value? I am uncertain about selling my coins online and I'm thinking about going to a local coin shop that buys coins, but I am unsure if that is the best course of action.

Any help would be much appreciated, thanks!!
