9 year old with fracture to the base of her first metatarsal
My daughter slipped and fell today breaking the base of her first metatarsal . Urgent care wrapped her foot and put her in a shoe and said to follow up with orthopedic tomorrow. What can i expect from the orthopedist? Is she going to need a cast or a boot ? How long do these typically take to heal ?
