Subreddit appreciation
This is the only subreddit I visit on a regular basis. It’s pretty much the only reason I still use Reddit.
Everyone here is just very positive, even in the face of the horrible realities we live in. And for the most part everyone is very respectful to each other.
This may seem like a bare minimum, but for a political subreddit it’s not. Every political subreddit I’ve dabble in that isn’t explicitly right wing is either infested with shitlib Epstiny freaks or the most annoying ultras unhinged from reality (not that there is a moral equivalence between the two)
Like a certain smaller headed streamer’s sub that I visit occasionally and immediately lose faith in humanity. So many posts are just annoying libs or annoying ultras yelling past each other. Especially with the recent Maureen Galindo stuff. Makes me pull my hair out.
(For reference I’m not denouncing or endorsing Galindo, I think she’s a crazy person who says antisemitic stuff, but I’m also a lesser evil voter so if I was in that district I’d vote for her over the Zionist dem or the republican)
Anyways, another rambling post from me, but I wanted to try to give some reassurance to the community. Hugs and kisses
