Who carries a sillcock key?

Which is another way of asking, “who gets water from the outside of restaurants and office buildings?”
Or is that something only a prepper would need?

I retired early and forgot an expense

I retired with enough money to take care of myself to age 101 including long-term care. Now I find that my mother might need some money to pay for her long-term care. Not just the care but the logistics involved in moving her across the country to be closer to me. That’s all.

How to have a “gold watch” moment when you FIRE?

All I knew about retirement my whole life was that you worked for the same company for 20 years and when you retire they give you a gold watch. I know that doesn’t happen too many people now, but I feel like once you actually reach your FIRE number you deserve something. Maybe a gold watch! Would buying a low end Rolex or similar when you finally reach your number be excessive?
