I need recommendations for ways to learn more music theory
I would like to start by saying i think i know a lot about guitar and music over all, but i just know im my heart i know like absolutely nothing, but i would really like to know more. Im tired of writing these three chord songs that just don’t impress me, they don’t make me feel anything, and i always blame it on not having a drumset but i know thats just me being lazy, anyways. I wanted to ask if anybody had any good youtube videos or like online websites that can teach you like about chords and go into depth with them, like fifths and fourths and sevenths, diminished and augmented stuff, basically just as much as i could possibly know about chords, i also would like to move onto scales because i consider myself a pretty good guitarist but i just keep playing the same licks over and over and it feels like im trapped in the pentatonic scale. Id also like to know how to understand that weird chord language with the roman numerals, I also need help finding how to ear train to certain notes but i dont think that will be very difficult to find videos or websites to help me with that, i have looked all this stuff up on youtube but im not really seeing anything other then like 12 minutes videos of music theory for dummies, and i dont really want that, i want in depth long explanations.
