Indian founders: how does your team actually coordinate work?
Genuinely curious how other Indian founders/team leads handle this.
For context: I'm building stuff on the side while studying CS. Been thinking a lot about how Indian teams actually work - and it feels like there's a massive disconnect between Western tools (Slack, Asana, Notion) and how Indian businesses actually operate.
My theory: Most Indian SMBs run on WhatsApp. Work happens there. Decisions happen there. But it's chaos - things get lost, no accountability, hard to track.
Curious about others' experiences:
- How much of your team's work actually happens on WhatsApp vs. dedicated tools?
- Have you tried Slack/Asana/Notion? What killed the adoption?
- What's the worst "fell through the cracks" moment you've had recently?
