So with the help of a friend I was able to figure out how to play as different npc's in saints row 4. Ultimately there's not really much you can do with this. Once you switch then you lose all your powers, your level and your weapons. You can probably use cheats though to gain them back and pick up your weapons again in the weapon cache. You also cannot do any missions and cutscenes wont play. Pretty much all you can do is roam around the city as a different npc. My goal is to figure this out for saints row 3 remastered and to actually be able to play as any npc in the story missions.
