Question for Japanese people: Which Russian name sounds cuter, Kostya or Vanya
Hi everyone!
I have a quick question for Japanese native speakers (or people living in Japan) about how Russian names sound to your ears.
Between "Kostya" (コスチャ) and "Vanya" (ヴァーニャ), which one sounds more attractive or "kawaii" to you?
Also, does the "nya" sound in "Vanya" instantly remind you of a cat meowing (にゃー), or does it just sound like a regular name? Or does "Kostya" sound better and more stylish because of the "cha" sound?
I would love to hear your honest first impressions! Thank you so much
