Hey guys​,

I'm 40(M) from Alberta, Canada and am exploring the possibility​ of ​entering this field. ​I don't have any previous labour, ​construction and/or trades ​​experience if that matters.

Would anyone that is currently in this field please share your overall experiences? ​It can be anything and/or ​everything about this field.

Is it easier and overall better to find work if one goes​ to school​​​ for it or would one still be able to find work without schooling?

Would my age be a factor? I'm not a gym rat but I'm not fit or overweight either, i​f it​ matters​​​.

Aside from asking on Reddit who else can I contact that would be able to answer these and some other questions?
