Hello. I (28f) am trying to plan a surprise visit for my boyfriend’s birthday in September.

We’re from London and have never been. I’m hoping to do a 3/4 day trip and have a few questions.

1. Where is the best area to stay for us as newbies? Hoping to see some beautiful views and do some easy hikes/walks

2. Will I need to drive? Is it easy to get around without a car? What is the cab service like?

3. Any recommendations on fun and interesting things to do?

4. Are the hikes and walks easy to navigate?

5. Is September a good time to go?

6. Anything else I should know.
