If String Theory's equations are dependent on Anti-dS Space, does that threaten the likelihood of the holographic principle being true?
Been watching Leonard Susskind's content for a few weeks to get a normie-friendly rundown of the current state of physics. He made concepts like the holographic principle super digestible and interesting for me but I understand String Theory is in a bit of a hiccup over De Sitter Space vs Anti-De Sitter Space. If we assumed that this could be the death knell for String Theory, would that tank the plausibility of the holographic principle?
A basic search tells me the HP is not strictly dependent on String Theory and could stand as a sound proposal even if String Theory was thrown out but..... that's an AI answer
