First time here and want to be careful looking for a Japan proxy to US that has a good track record as the iteam I'm looking at is a rather expensive one and want to stay on the careful side

I've also heard of recent new laws and I'm unsure what to worry about if at all if anyone is knowledgeable on that subject as well
