what’s this part here? and could it cause any battery issues?
battery lights been blinking off and on for a few days and the car just started dying mid drive cutting off the power steering and everything. the terminals were pretty corroded so i wiped off the positive and replaced the negative. got most of the corrosion off. a little bit left on part of the positive connector. had the battery and alternator tested and the tech said both were in top notch working order. told me it must be cold weather.
