SOL on debt after new agency
Location: California
my mother owed money to the state of oregon
collection agency took over the account and she made payments for 2 years (up to April)
the debt was recently sold to a new agency (TBD we haven’t heard anything yet)
what is the start of SOL for the new debt
April of this year when she paid the other company or does it go to the original debt 2 years ago?
also: will the SOL be based on Oregon or California?
