3 Unsuccessful Attempts
I’ve attempted three attempts for a three-letter agency and was unsuccessful each time. I’m currently a cleared DoD contractor, but this new position required a FSP.
The main issue they gave me was that they could not establish my “baseline,” and they claimed I was withholding information. I understand this opportunity is most likely gone since this was my third attempt.
My questions are:
Could this hurt me for future opportunities with other departments/agencies that do not require a FSP, but may require a CI poly?
When it is time for my current clearance reinvestigation, will these unsuccessful attempts show up in my security file and potentially lead to my DoD clearance being revoked?
During my last attempt, the examiner made it seem like three unsuccessful polygraphs could prevent me from having a future in the cleared space. Is that actually true?
