Chase Application : ITIN + Tello OTP Passcode Need Advice!

Hey everyone,

I’m currently facing a frustrating brick wall with my first Chase application (Sapphire Preferred) using an ITIN, and I need some insight or success stories from anyone who managed to bypass this.

Carrier: Tello (eSIM) .he Issue:

I applied for the CSP, and it went to identity verification. I’ve called the Reconsideration / Verification lines 4 times now, and every single time the automated system fails to send the One-Time Passcode (OTP) to my Tello number. The reps try to send it, it never arrives, the system locks up, and they tell me "we couldn't verify your identity, call back in 24 hours."

To make things worse, I looked at my Equifax/Experian reports, and my current address is 100% correct and matches my application. However, I suspect TransUnion has flipped my current and previous addresses (showing my current address as previous). Since Chase pulled TransUnion, the system triggers a massive fraud flag when combined with the missing OTP.

standard text messages (like from Equifax login codes) without issues, but Chase OTPs are still blocked from their end.

Asked the reps for Out-of-Wallet (OOW) security questions or a secure upload link to send my passport/ITIN letter/Amex statements, but they claim the automated system doesn't give them the option because the initial phone verification failed.

Has anyone with an ITIN using Tello from abroad successfully bypassed this Chase passcode loop? Is there a specific department or phone number (like a Senior Fraud Analyst) that has the power to manual-override the OTP block and accept faxed/uploaded bank statements?

my credit profile is clean. I really don't want this hard inquiry to go to waste.

Appreciate any advice or data points!
