Used a Real Bidet Seat at a Friend's Place and Now I Don't Know What I've Been Doing for a Year
Warm weather took away my only real complaint, which was the cold water. Now I'm just left with the attachment itself and I'm starting to feel a little dumb about how long I've been fine with it.
The dial does something. I'm still not totally sure what. Turned it all the way down, all the way up, the difference is there but it's more like adjusting a TV that only goes between 8 and 10.
Tried a proper seat at a coworker's place a few weeks back. The pressure actually moved when I touched the controls. That sounds obvious and it kind of is, tbh, but it genuinely hadn't been my experience for the past twelve months so it caught me off guard.
Been looking at seats in the under $200 range. A few names keep coming up: Horow B0503, Bio Bidet BB500, a couple Brondell entry-level things. Reviews across all of them are roughly fine, which doesn't help much when you're trying to decide.
My house runs high water pressure and I've seen that mentioned as a real problem with some seats. Still can't tell if it's a structural thing or just people finding reasons to complain online.
Probably going to pick something and accept whatever minor regret comes with it.
