So I am a skinny guy, nearly 6 feet tall, and usually do big weight cuts for my Muay Thai fights. I would normally walk around at 61/62kg (about 135lbs) and cut to 55kg (121 lbs) for a fight. I fight professionally, so it's worth the misery. The only thing is that I have only recently started taking creatine (within the last month or 2), and I now walk around between 62 and 63kg ( around 138lbs). My next fight is in 4 weeks, and I'll have to do the 8kg (18lbs) weight cut again. I would usually lose half by dieting and the rest (maybe 4kg(9lbs)) in water weight. My question now is: How much harder is it to lose the water weight while still takimg creatine? I am expecting that I'll have to cut it out completely a bit before the fight. But how much time before weighing in, do I need to stop taking it? I get a full day to recover after weighing in. Thanks
