UGC creators — quick advice please 👀

I’m 🇿🇦 based in the Netherlands 🇳🇱 and already on SideShift, Cohley, Fiverr, Upwork, Influee, Bloss, Insense, Billo, JoinBrands, Collabstr and a few others.

Some of these have paid upgrades/subscriptions — are any of them actually worth it?

Which platforms actually bring you paid UGC work (especially in Europe/internationally), and which ones are better to keep free?

Trying not to pay for every platform before I’ve made money on them 😂

New UGC creator here... before I accidentally learn everything the hard way 😅

Hi everyone!

I've officially fallen down the UGC rabbit hole and loving this.

I've got Fiverr set up, joined a few creator platforms, and I'm building my portfolio... which currently consists of equal parts excitement, overthinking, and Googling things at 1am because apparently that's part of the onboarding process. 😂

I'd love to learn from people who've already survived the beginner phase.

What caught you completely off guard?
• Biggest scam or red flags?
• Biggest rookie mistake?
• What actually got you your first paid gig?
• Anything you wish you'd done sooner?
• What's one thing beginners obsess over that really doesn't matter?

I'm not looking for a magic shortcut—I know this is a marathon, not a sprint. I'd just rather learn from people who've already stepped on the Lego than enthusiastically do it myself. 😅

I'd genuinely love to hear the good, the bad, and the "if I could start over..." stories.

Thanks!
