Hi! I’ve been living above a t-shirt printing shop for almost two years. Until these last couple of months we’ve never had issues with noise, but they rented out the garage directly under my bedroom and now the last three months I’ve been able to hear all of their conversations at max volume and their machinery makes banging noises 13 hours a day, sometimes until 11:30 at night. I wake up to their noise literally every day. They put a hydraulic lift directly under my bed. I’ve reached out to them multiple times about just the machinery, not even their shouting and music, but they’ve been super snarky and dismissive. I’m 6 months pregnant and trying to prepare the bedroom for a newborn since we only have 1 room. What can I do to block out noise at such an extreme volume? I’ve tried white noise, but their machinery hums so loudly at night I’ve started sleeping in the living room and not even stepping foot in my bedroom. This won’t be livable with a baby :’) Any recommendations?
