I purchased a boat from someone who had a lien on the boat as it was financed through their bank. I've already got the seller paid and everything's good on both our ends but he's telling me his bank is saying its going to take 7-21 days for him to get the title ? Why such a long wait and is this normal ? The seller and I have agreed that he'll hold onto the boat till the title comes in then we'll sign over the boat etc. I trust him so I'm not worried about getting scammed or anything of that nature but his bank is really dragging the process out leaving him and I a little frustrated.
