Hi Friends! THR on right hip 1 week out and HOLY HELL…..the bruising!!! I mean I know why but it’s just awful, doesn’t seem to be going anywhere (kinda the opposite) and hurts like hell! I bruise easily anyway, but there are colors I’ve not seen before on my thigh 🫣
Y’all having this too? Any tips?
Also, my bandage was taken off yesterday 😱🤢🫣😱🤢🤮 Kinda looks like I’ve been attacked by a werewolf (no pics, too gross). My surgeon used surgical glue instead of staples or stitches. The glue got a little stuck to my bandage which made it even more pleasant when the PT removed it 🙃 Kinda thought I was going to pass out!
