Ultrasound finding
Saw this today on a 5yr old male presenting with mid abdominal pain to r/o appendicitis. No appy seen but saw this engorged tubular thing at the area he pointed. There's no vascularity.
Update: He has normal descended testes, normal labs other than slightly elevated RBC, HGB, and HCT. CT couldn't visualize the appendix. According to the report, small bowel loops within normal caliber. Ultrasound findings may represent ingested material seen within the stomach. The kid probably swallowed a bunch of glass noodles or something. 🤷♂️
Thanks for all the feedback and suggestions, I'll take them into consideration next time.
