Newly diagnosed with costrochondritis

Hello everyone. I’m a 27 year-old male, who is currently traveling and I have two questions.
One does this sound like costo to yall?
Basically, about a month ago, I started noticing that with exertion, I would get a sharp pain in the center of my chest, I also have some ongoing pain in the left side of my chest that popped up at the same time. Definitely feels musculoskeletal. Went to the ER and cardiologists and was diagnosed with costo after doing an x-ray and EKG and bloodwork. Cardiologist gave me a shot of Kenacort right in the center of my chest and my pain was gone after that until it returned about 3 weeks later, again only with exertion. I also feel like I’m more short of breath than I used to be, like I’ve got something wrapped around me.

Second question, I’ve read about a lot of tools you guys have been using at home (Backpod etc) what can you recommend, stretches and otherwise (homemade tools I can use) to get the samem effect as something like a backpod? I realize I’m probably gonna be in this for the long haul after reading a lot.
