Im communications banned but Sony hasn't emailed me, and when I check suspensions it says im good.
So a guy reported me for harassment for a psn message and so I got communications banned. My longest ban in the past was 3 months. Even though it was a long time ago Im worried im permanently banned because I didnt get an email saying how long my new ban would last. I went to check the suspensions website to see my account status and there it says im not banned. I want to appeal my ban because I didnt say anything particularly offensive or use vulgar language. Or I atleast want to see how long I will have to wait to play online again if it isnt 3 months or longer.
Edit: trying to appeal a ban under the suspensions site revealed how long my suspension is, which is 7 days. If anybody has my issue in the future go to "appeal permanent ban" on ps suspensions. Sony needs to fix this reporting system. The guy was trying to bait me into saying something reportable, which I knew so I didnt give it to him, but I guess even responding to messages can be reported for harassment. At least now I know I can just get anyone banned who sends forms of hatemail.
