Corydora bent spine

Corydora bent spine

I have two Corydoras with bent spines. They behave normally, eat well, and seem healthy overall.

The issue is that they struggle to swim straight up to the surface. As far as I researched Corydoras occasionally gulp air from the surface, but these two repeatedly try and fail to reach it properly.

To help them, I lowered the water level and added extra aeration/filtration to improve oxygen in the tank.

Despite this, they still struggle with reaching the surface while all other Corydoras have no issues.

I need advice on how to make their life better.

I would say she is a rescue. Her previous owner tried to use her for breeding. She was kept in a jar and her fin was damaged after mating with male beta.

When I got her, she stayed in a small tank for a while, when it was time for a tank upgrade, I put her in a bowl while acclimating. That's when I realized she was getting yellow (second image).

I thought it was a stress sign so I didn't mind it. However it's been 5 days since and she is still yellow and her fins are becoming see through.

Unfortunately I don't have water testing kit. But this tank has been hosting fish for 4 months, and I am not overfeeding. I am not sure if water parameters are the problem.

Any tips?
