I know it was removed due to scammers and account sellers, but there has to be a way to prevent that in some form. An idea i had was adding a 30 day period where the merged account is disabled, that will give the opportunity of victims of it to get ahold of tech support and recover the account. I have a couple accounts because i had multiple xbox accounts i play on, and now i can't access them on a new ps5 account because of it. Just an idea though, would love to hear more!
