Basement wall crack
So I had this crack, but it never moved for years, ( I mean like 20 years) and then we had Hurricane Helene in WNC and it got a little longer, and now we've had a severe drought, and it has moved a bit. It is on the front facing underground wall of a house built on the side of a mountain. A structural engineer told me to patch it and watch it, but I got busy with 1000 other Hurricane damages and only watched, did not caulk it as I was foolishly waiting on FEMA. One side of the wall is a tiny, tiny bit in front of the other around the middle now as you can see. Is it too late to patch, and if not, what kind of patch? It looks worse from the left than from the right for some reason. And there's that little bit of concrete that has fallen out that is concerning me. Passes the 'stick a quarter in it' test, but not by much.
