Staff whining nonstop
I’m not perfect, and I have personal issues outside of work like everyone else. But once I walk into work, I put all of that aside and focus on doing my job — and only my job. Every now and then I may share something personal, but I try not to let it affect the workplace.
Lately, what’s been bothering me is how some staff come in already complaining and spreading negativity nonstop throughout the day. It drains the energy, affects the atmosphere, and honestly seems to hurt productivity too.
How do you deal with situations like this, and what’s the best professional way to address it?
