Just bought a Santa Fe 2026 so I need to do something about the front seat belt? Have read in a few places that there is a recall but can’t actually find the recall. Thank you!

I could really use some advice. I currently drive a 2015 Hyundai Sonata 2015 with about 76,000 miles, and it has an oil consumption issue, actually barely drivable and a hazard. Hyundai denied my goodwill claim to replace the engine. The dealer is offering me $4,500 for the trade-in knowing its in service in their own dealership, which honestly feels fair given the condition and the engine issue.

I absolutely love the Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid Limited 2026 but I need to be responsible and stay at $625/month MAX. So far, I’ve been offered about $4,100 off MSRP as a dealer discount, plus an additional $1,000 “goodwill/loyalty” incentive, and I’d be applying my $4,500 trade-in. Financing would be around 3.99% for 72 months, and my credit score is around 800. Even with all of that, the Limited trim is still coming in higher than I’m comfortable with monthly.

So I’m trying to figure out if I’m being unrealistic here. Is it even possible to get a Limited Hybrid around $625/month, or am I pushing it too far? Does this sound like a solid deal already, or is there still room to negotiate? I've seen some crazy good deals posted on here and I need all the tricks as I am actually excited for the Santa Fe hybrid limited vs the hybrid SEL

For context, I’ve looked at Toyota and Honda, but they seem basically non-negotiable right now. I don’t really trust used cars in this market either with the current pricing and interest rates. I only drive about 6–7k miles a year and plan to keep my next car long-term. I’m just trying to avoid making an emotional decision I’ll regret financially, but I also don’t want to end up stuck in a car I don’t enjoy for the next 10 years. Would really appreciate honest feedback.
