Is it possible to career shift aged 51?
I have worked in education for over 20 years and wanting to pivot in my career. I have reached the age of 50 plus one year and struggling to know what my next steps should be. I feel lost and will spend hours researching an area only for me to drop it. I am struggling to understand what career options are open to me and would offer me the lifestyle and flexibility that I crave. I have researched cloud computing, data scientist, financial advisor, cyber security and much more but it all fizzles out leading me to feel that i am stuck. I am happy to train but don't have huge amounts to spend on retraining. I believe that my skills are transferable but I don't know its destination.
Any advice would be more than welcome to overcome feeling stuck.
