Hello! I’m a first time gardener trying to make this weedy mess in front of my house look better. I know everyone says a natural edge looks best, but my lawn slopes quite a bit, and I don’t think I can get the mulch lower than the grass line. It’s been overtaken by creeping Charlie and I’m having a hard time keeping up with it. Anyway, is there an edge that’s ideal for this situation? To keep grass and mulch separate when the mulch is higher than the grass on a slope while also looking nice? Also, I’ve read that laying down cardboard can help with the weeds/creeping Charlie , but that can attract termites, right? And isn’t ideal against a house? I’m in Illinois (zone 6a). Thank you for any help you can provide!
