Does fixing your “for you feed”, interacting with other same content creators or your target audience region’ creators really helps the algorithm better understand your target audience?

I am from Japan and my posts always reach mainly 99%Thailand, follow by Laos,Philippine and 0.1%Singapore(the only English speaking country). I’ve been posting for total 20videos now for 10days and I have got like 1% US view for 1 video(3rd video). That’s the only video with non-asian view and already got a comment from US account(his account have post of him on travis concert). For you guys, How long did it take the algorithm to understand my content is made for western countries. I feel like I’m hitting a dead end here.
(I heard about proxy and vpn but i want to do more organic way)
I will update in this post if i get out of this jail.
