Originally, I had been doing pretty well in Trackblazer, as it even lead to my first A+, which was the consistent career rating for all of my umas that I had run with it. And while that is still technically the case now, all of a sudden I just seemingly don't have the ability to get any of these good run at all. Either I get incredibly lucky and manage to get one of the good runs like I used to, or it just completely falls apart in the beginning and they're unable to win any races, even G3s. I've been using numerous guides and tools to help me for quite a while now, including a helpful deck builder and agenda planner, but even still this doesn't seem to work anymore.
I've also heard that "Only a C aptitude is really necessary, but you can do B to be safe", but if any of my umas have anything besides an A aptitude in that race's distance, they're virtually guaranteed to lose no matter what.
At this point, I've just decided to record some footage of what an example run that actually manages to win looks like (although strangely enough this is actually better than the previous Kitasan Black i had, which i did not expect) in order to upload it to reddit and hopefully get some advice.
There's so many thing I know that could be going wrong, and so hopefully I can narrow it down to what I can focus on, such as:
- Having a bad deck
- Not good enough parents
- Simply getting unlucky
- Making bad shopping purchases
- Not good enough of an agenda
- Racing too much/too little, or not doing the correct kinds of races.
- other forms of a skill issue
If anyone has any advice on what I can do, I'd greatly appreciate it!
EDIT: I did mean to bring this up in the post when I sent it, but I would like to apologize for the numerous cuts in the video. There were long stretches of time that I cut out where my internet was being on the fritz and Umamusume was trying to connect, or me trying to figure out if a race was able to be skipped or not.
