How was your experience at this year’s OCBC Cycle? What bike were you using? 20km or 40km?
It was my first time joining the event about 2 weeks ago, and I honestly didn’t expect to enjoy it this much. Riding through fully closed city roads at sunrise felt very different from normal cycling in Singapore, the atmosphere was surprisingly fun. I rode the 40km route on a 20” trifold bike, and I’m really glad I didn’t give up or stop along the way. I managed the slopes smoothly without stopping and even completed the entire ride in about 1.5 hours, which honestly felt like a huge personal achievement for me. Now I really understand why people get so obsessed with cycling, I think I’ve fallen deeply in love with it. It’s not just about cycling, it’s about determination.
