not sure if anyone else can’t distinguish rows in this chart and a bag that’s only 36 stitches around? not sure about that

i recently purchased an ashford traveler off of fb marketplace and got a great deal. it’s a late 90s model and in amazing condition from the previous owners’ late grandmother. using a spinning wheel is so much better than the electric spinner i started with!
i would appreciate tips with using the smaller whorl on this wheel as my drive band just slides on the whorl or the wheel doesn’t take the band; even when i have it on highest drive band tension. i tried both lessening tension and increasing it and couldn’t get the hang of the smaller whorl
I am a novice spinner and learned about a year ago on my Eel Wheel electric spinner. I’ve been yearning to get a real treadle wheel! However buying new is a little out of my price range at this time for the quality of wheel I would want to invest in.
I wanted advice on buying a second hand wheel on facebook marketplace, as I have never tried a standing wheel before (only ever spun on electric). The owner said this wheel is probably 25 years old and was out of commission for the last 2-3 years. It was his grandmother’s and she recently passed.
I am planning to go take a look and test it this weekend. What should I look out for? Please provide tips on second hand wheels!
i asked the other day if my singles from two braids would look good together, consensus and results say yes!
Would these two bobbins of singles work well together or will it get muddy?
